In the production of the project, I was acting, I also wrote the script for the project that involved the dialogue and how the scenes played out. In addition to this, I also did some editing for the project, this was a great starter as it familiarized me with how to edit a selection of footage. The production went extremely well, the filming took longer than anticipated, but it went well. The editing didn't go aswell as it could have as there were some hold ups, but overall it went well. There was some problems as the camera seemed to have a different resolution depending on where we placed it, in addition to this the focus of the camera was sometimes off, so we would have to redo scenes. Finally, it took me a while to keep a straight while filming as I kept on laughing when we were filming, this meant filming took a lot longer than we expected. But overall, we overcame all these problems and the final scene was great. My understanding of adobe has been topped as I have used it more during the process, in the past I didn't have a lot of experience with editing. My understanding of mise-en-scene has also been topped as I have had to analyse my own piece, the acting, lighting, costumes used in the scene etc, have all had an impact on my understanding of it. I now also understand camerawork better, and how to make the best use of it, which shots to use for particular parts of the scene, and different angles to place the camera at to have the greatest impact on the scene. Using the tripod and using steady cam has also been effective with the scene, and my understanding of when to use each has been topped. I know when it is best to use each one now.

Scene Analysis.
This is a scene from the movie Creed , it is one of the more emotional scenes of the movie and the director uses different techniques to emphasise this. Firstly, the director uses close up shots of both of the characters faces. This adds emphasise to the emotion in the scene as we can clearly see from the expressions on their faces how they are feeling. In addition to this pop shots are used throughout the scene, this shows us the viewer what the character is seeing, and how, in their eyes they have a different perspective. This mirrors the dialogue in the scene. Bothe characters have a different take on how to deal with Rocky's cancer situation, this is a great addition to the scene. The 180 degree shot is used too, it allows us to get a clear view of the scene, and what each character is looking at. It feels natural and subtle in the scene. From the scene we can tell that the genre of movie is thriller, it is tense and emotional at the same time. In addition, the dialogue in the scene is well written and emphasises each characters thoughts and emotions It feels natural an not forced. These overall add to make a great emotional scene, that gives the movie heart, rather than being a standard boxing movie. Finally, Steadicam is used. It is used as to make the scene feel more natural and tidy. In addition the shots are basic and not disorientating, this adds a level of comfort to the emotion of the scene, it also makes the scene seem more real. Watch the cli below.
Different camera movement and how it's used
Pan: During a pan, the camera is aimed sideways along a straight line. The camera itself is not actually moving at all. It is often fixed to tripod, with the operator turning it either left or right.
Panning is mainly used to capture images of moving objects like moving trains or people walking; or to show sweeping landscapes like an ocean or a cliff. This can be an effect shot in cinama and tv as it can captures all the surrounding in the scene. It gives the viewer a good sense of atmosphere too.

Dolly: When the entire camera moves forward or backward, this move is called dolly. If the camera is on tripod, the tripod will be moved too. Dollies are often used when recording something, such as an actor that moves in or out going towards the camera, in which case the goal would probably be keeping the focus of the recording at the same distance from the camera as the tripod . For the most effective dolly, the camera should be mounted on a wheeled-platform, such as an actual dolly, or a shopping cart, depending on the budget, helping make it seem more effective and natural. Moving the camera forward is called dolly in . Moving the camera backward is called dolly out.what is going on around the charaters in the scene. Directors that use the dolly will often use it to add to the specific sense of style to the film, to make it unique. Or to add to an important scene
Zoom: Despite a common misconception, the terms “zoom” and “dolly” are not the same or used in the same way when in context. With dollies, the camera is being moved in a physical space. With zooms, the camera remains at a constant position, but the lens magnify or minimize the size of the subject.
Zooms happen at the push of a button. Zoom in refers to seemingly “approaching” the the focus of the scene, thus making it look bigger in the frame. Zoom out refers to seemingly “distancing” the focus of the scene, as to making it look smaller. Directors can use this to to make a sense of urgency by quickly zooming in on the characters face.
Steadicam: Steady cam is used in film when the camera is hand held by the cinematographer in a scene, directors can choose to use this instead of a dolly as it makes the camera more mobile and easier to capture the subject of the scene. In post production the shot will be smoothed out to make it look more natural. The Steadicam is the alternative to the dolly.
Ariel cam shot: This is used to capture footage from high above, usually in a helicopter or a drone depending on the budget. It's a way of the director showing the audience the world or atmosphere we're in. In addition to this it can show what is surrounding the characters.
Different camera shots
Close ups and Extreme close ups: An close up is often used by directors to emphasise a characters emotion in a certain scene. It can have a great effect on the way we see the character. It also emphasises how they feel towards the certain situation that they're in. Directors often use close ups during emotional scenes in films as they have a greater effect and adds to the scene. Extreme close ups are used in a different way, they are often used as our way to look deep into the character, they are also used for emotional scenes in movies. A director will often use them so we can see into the characters eyes, depending on what we see have a big impact on how we view the character. This is often used in X-men films. They are also used to significant effect in the Harry Potter movies, especially in the last films as it nears towards the emotional climax of the film.
Midshots and Longshots: Midshots are the most common camera shot in filmmaking and are used all the time. They allow the characters in the frame to be seen .The mid shot is often used in films when two or more characters are having a conversation. The shot is often used as a way not to show too much detail, it allows the scene to seem relaxed and casual rather than trying to place a large emphasis on emotion an character detail. The longshot is used differently. It is used as a way for the viewer to get a sense of what's going on in the scene and has the characters and their surrounding in frame. Directors often use the wide shot when they want us to get a sense of atmosphere, or to show us the vulnerability of the character in that situation.
Pov shot: Pov shots are used as a way for the viewer to see what the character sees. It can be effective in tense situations as we get a better understanding of what the character is going through. Directors will often use this shot to show this. It is often used in horror movies and thrillers as tension is a key part.
Low and high angle shots: Low angle shots are often used in films to make the character that's being focused on seem more powerful, such as a villain character. When the camera is below them it creates a sense of vulnerability and shows the characters power in the scene. High angle shots have a different effect, they can often show the character they are focusing on to be powerless in the situation and is often used to show the protagonist to be in danger or vulnerable. It is often used to portray children, showing them to be powerless and vulnerable.

TOP 3 BEST FILMS OF ALL TIME- OPINION.
The top 3 best films of all time is hard to choose as there are so many classic and ground-breaking films that have been released over the past century. My number 3 would have to be The Dark knight though. For me, this movie changed the way I look at comic book films and films in general and is highly regarded as the gold standard of comic book films and what they can be. In addition to this, the joker portrayed by Heath Ledger in the film is phenomenal and shows how good villains in films can be. My number 2 on the list would have to be Jurassic park, it was a ground breaking film that showed what CGI in films could look like, it even looks better than the CGI in some films today. Also, the story is intriguing and is well acted, paced and has some of the best scenes in movie history; such as the kitchen scene with the raptors, which is extremely memorable. My number 1 would have to be the Godfather. Everything about the film is perfect; the acting, music, story cinematography is all top notch. In addition to this it also has some of the most quotable lines in cinematic history "Keep your friends closer and your enemies closer" would be an example. The Godfather and The Godfather 2 are always on lists that account for the greatest movies ever by critics, and casual fans of films in general, and its for good reason, the films a genuine masterpiece and will always be regarded that way.
